identity.
How Kavod looks, sounds and moves, and why. Every part of it comes from what we do: building systems that carry weight.
The mark.
Two forms meet around two pillars, and the pillars carry everything down to one point. It stands in for the V in KAVOD. Read the full story on the about page.
- Keep clear space of half the mark’s width on every side.
- Never smaller than 20 px on screen or 8 mm in print.
- Never stretched, outlined, rotated, recoloured outside the palette, or redrawn.
Nebir, the mark awake.
Look at the mark long enough and it looks back. Give it two eyes of signal light and it becomes Nebir (ነብር, leopard): quick, watchful, built for this land.
Nebir is our guide, not our logo. It answers in the contact button, keeps you company when a page is missing, and watches the pointer when you are about to talk to us. It never speaks for the company in formal documents, and the plain mark is always used for identification.

Electric to signal. The one word that matters in a heading. The cut corner.
The mark’s wing tips are cut at an angle. Every button, card and frame repeats it on the top-right corner: small for controls, larger for panels. Nothing on the site is round.

One plain paragraph that says what the section shows, in the words a director would use.
Reading text stays at normal width and a comfortable line length, in mist on night, so long pages stay easy on the eyes. Numbers use tabular figures so columns line up: 1,284 orders · ETB 4,862,300.

How we sound.
Like a senior engineer explaining a system to a board: calm, exact, and in plain words.
- Say what it does Name the system, the people who use it and what changes. A director should understand every sentence.
- Show, then claim A working example before any adjective. Nothing claimed that we cannot show.
- Calm and exact No exclamation marks, no hype words, no labels above headings. Numbers that add up.
- Built for here Write for decision-makers in Ethiopia and East Africa, in plain international English.
We say One system for every branch, with the numbers on the first screen.
We do not say A synergistic, best-in-class digital transformation platform.
We say Approvals in hours instead of days.
We do not say Revolutionise your workflows with cutting-edge AI.
We say We reply within one working day.
We do not say Reach out and let’s connect!
How we tell a story.
Three devices, used everywhere. They let a visitor understand our work without taking our word for it.
01 Before, and after
Every service, industry and project opens with how things were and how they run now. The before is quiet and struck through; the after is lit.
Before
- Stock counted on paper every Friday
- Approvals waiting on one signature
- Reports rebuilt by hand each month
After
- Stock live across every warehouse
- Approvals routed and signed from a phone
- Reports that write themselves overnight
Work as specimens
Projects are shown working, not as screenshots on a laptop: the system itself on sample data, with its spec sheet beside it.
See the work 03Reviews as sign-offs
What clients say is shown like a handover record: who signed, their role, the system, and what was checked before go-live.
See the sign-offsthat slows you down.
Tell us how things run today. We reply within one working day with what we would build first and how long it would take.
