An organisation that publishes its evidence
Before
- Conservation results hard for funders to check.
After
- Every figure labelled by how it was measured, with charts, a catchment map and verifiable datasets.
- monitoring points charted for water quality
- languages labelled across the site
- checksum published with every dataset
The situation
The charity restores the banks and wetlands of a river that millions of people in south-western Uganda depend on. Funders want proof, and conservation numbers are easy to inflate and hard to check.
What we built
A platform that lets the evidence speak. The catchment is an interactive map; water-quality readings from six monitoring points, rainfall and discharge are charted; and every figure carries a label saying whether it was measured, cited or estimated. Datasets download as PDF, CSV or GeoJSON, each published with a checksum anyone can verify.
Details that matter
- Labels in English, Luganda and Runyankole for the communities along the river.
- Donations by mobile money, card or bank transfer.
- A staff admin keeps the data current without a developer.
